Power Management

Installation and integration of smart inverters, multi-bank battery chargers, digital monitoring, and power distribution, built for reliability, visibility, and control over every circuit drawing from your battery bank.

The problem this solves

Power you can only guess at is power you can't trust.

A single analog battery gauge doesn't tell you which circuit is pulling current, whether your charger is actually finishing a charge cycle, or how much runtime you have left before something needs attention. Coastal Current installs power management systems that put that information where you can actually see it: at the helm, on a phone, or on a dedicated monitor.

What's covered

Equipment we install and integrate

  • Smart inverters & inverter/chargers
  • Multi-bank battery chargers
  • Digital battery monitoring
  • Charging system integration
  • Power distribution & circuit organization
  • Integrated energy-management components
How it's built

Every circuit fused, labeled, and accounted for

Distribution panels are organized so the next person opening them (a surveyor, a future technician, or you) can actually understand what they're looking at. Every circuit is properly fused and sized, and monitoring is configured to reflect the system as installed, not left on factory defaults.

Inverters & chargers

Sized to the actual AC load, not oversold

An inverter/charger is matched to the boat's real AC draw, a microwave and a coffee maker running together, an AC unit on a hot afternoon, not upsold to the biggest unit that fits the space. Transfer switching between shore power, generator, and inverter is wired to be automatic and seamless, not something you have to think about.

Monitoring

Know your state of charge before you need to

Monitoring lives where you'll actually look at it, at the helm or on a phone, not buried in the battery compartment where the only way to check it is a flashlight and a bad angle.
